FLIGHTS: Listed flights are with Continental Airlines from Newark to Stockholm and from Oslo to Newark. Transfers are provided only for persons using group trans-Atlantic flights.

INTER CITY TRANSPORTATION: Stockholm/Oslo by second-class rail- day train.

HOTELS: Stockholm - Amaranten Hotel *****, Oslo - Thon Hotel Opera****

SIGHTSEEING: As per itinerary including all entrance fees.

ESCORT: Fully escorted from Newark throughout the entire itinerary by a professional, English-Ukrainian speaking tour manager. Local bi-lingual guides will be provided at each destination for guided tours.

Oct. 6 Wed Newark/Stockholm Continental Airlines

Please be at NEWARK AIRPORT at least 3 hrs prior to flight departure time. Scope representative will assist you with check-in. Your baggage must be checked to your final destination STOCKHOLM (ARN). If you have more than one piece of checked baggage, a surcharge of $50 will be collected at airport by agency representative for porterage.

Oct 7 Thu Stockholm

Upon arrival at Arlanda Airport, the group will be met and transferred to their centrally located hotel in Stockholm where we have arranged for early check-in. Remainder of day is free to explore this city with its many museums, restaurants, shops and cafes. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Oct 8 Fri Stockholm

After a traditional Scandinavian breakfast, the group will be met and taken on an exciting four-hour private guided bus tour of the city, which includes Old Town, the Royal Castle, City Hall, with its famous Blue Hall, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year. The excursion also includes a panoramic view of Stockholm. Highlight of the tour is a visit to the Vasa Ship Museum.

Tonight you will enjoy a three-course dinner at the hotel before you are transferred to the Opera Hall for the night's performance, Rigoletto. Transfer back to the hotel after the show.

Oct 9 Sat Stockholm   B

Today you will enjoy an interesting half -day excursion with bus and guide to the picturesque city of Uppsala, where we will see all the main attractions. We visit Old Uppsala with the famous Cathedral and the Viking mounds.

This evening you will experience Stockholm's coolest bar - ABSOLUT ICE BAR STOCKHOLM. Here in the world's first permanent ice bar, the temperature is -5¡C all year round. The entire interior, including the glasses, is made from 100% pure, clear ice from the Torne River in Swedish Lapland.

Oct 10 Sun Stockholm/Oslo   B/D

After breakfast, it is time to board the train that will take you through the beautiful countryside of Sweden, over the border to Norway and to the capital city, Oslo. Check in to your centrally located hotel and spend a relaxing evening in Oslo. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Oct 11 Mon Oslo   B

Today you will see all the highlights in Oslo. On this 4-hour guided city tour you will see many of Oslo's most impressive sights, including the great scenic point at Holmenkollen Ski Jump, the Viking Ship Museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the Norwegian Folk Museum, Akershus Fortress and downtown Oslo. Enjoy!

Oct 12 Tue Oslo   B/D

In the evening you will attend the Ballet Arstidene Four Seasons. Enjoy the four seasons, as you have never experienced them before. That is a promise as Jo Str¿mgren takes on Vivaldi's Four Seasons and the dancers of the Norwegian National Ballet.
Depending on time of performance, dinner at hotel, either before or after the ballet.

Oct 13 Wed Oslo/Newark   B

After an early breakfast, transfer to Oslo Inter airport for non stop flight to Newark.

Depart by train on the famous Oslo/Bergen Railroad. At Myrdal board the Flam Railway, ranked as one of the top 20 train rides in the world. Within 13 miles descend 2800 feet to the idyllic fjord community of Flam. Here you board the Flam Express boat to Balestrand for dinner and overnight. The following day take the Songnefjord Express boat to Bergen. Clarion Hotel + city tour are included. Departure by plane from Bergen-Oslo-Newark TBA.
