1 18.04.1997 Petition to Ivano-Frankivsk City Court for judgment directing Ivano-Frankivsk City Council to VOID and invalidate the 10.10.1991 agreement that purported to grant Popadiuk partnership rights in JV Auscoprut on the grounds that this agreement is a FORGERY. Documents "vanished" from the prosecutor's office and a new set was hand delivered on 19.05.1997 by Helbig attorneys.
2 25.06.1997 Court session during which Popadiuk submitted another FORGED agreement dated 10.03.1992 and founders meeting minutes dated 10.02.1992 (all forgeries). Case is adjourned in order for Popadiuk to produce the ORIGINALS of the aforementioned.
3 07.08.1997 Petition to Ivano-Frankivsk City Court as per Article 103 of Civil Code of Ukraine seeking a judgment to declare void the 10.03.1992 agreement and the minutes of 10.02.1992 on the grounds that they were FORGED.
4 26.09.1997 Court session during which Helbig makes application to stay civil case pending criminal proceedings. Petition is rejected. Hearing of the case is postponed because of Popadiuk's refusal to present original documents. Case is rescheduled for 05.11.1997
5 27.10.1997 Helbig's petition to the Supreme Court of Ukraine requesting a change of venue because of Popadiuk's influence on the Ivano-Frankivsk court and existing dangers for Helbig's lawyers (unexplained automobile accidents). No response
6 03.11.1997 Petition to sitting judge at Ivano-Frankivsk Court asking that he remove himself due to non-objectivity, unfairness and conflict of interest. Petition ignored
7 19.11.1997 Helbig's attorney attacked in Lviv, sustaining injuries: severe concussion, broken jaw, loss of six teeth, three broken ribs, kidney damage, etc. required hospitalization for one month Court, though made aware of attorney's condition, repeatedly schedules hearing dates.
8 24.12.1997 Second petition seeking to remove Ivano-Frankivsk sitting judge (see #6 above) Petition ignored
9 24.12.1997 Petition to Ivano Frankivsk City Court seeking a postponement due to lack of counsel, who refused to continue due to fear of assault (see #7) No response to petition
10 26.12.1997 Helbig's petition to Supreme Court of Ukraine seeking change of venue for reasons set forth in #5 above.
11 25.01.1998 Supreme Court of Ukraine refuses petition for change of venue and directs the matter to continue in Ivano-Frankivsk City Court.
12 27.01.1998 Helbig advised of court summons to appear at a hearing scheduled for 10.02.1998
13 02.02.1998 Helbig responds by telegram that she is unable to comply due to illness, medical certificate will be mailed and postponement of hearing requested.
14 10.02.1998 Hearing in Ivano-Frankivsk City Court with only the Popadiuk side present. Court was aware of Helbig's illness; medical certificate was sent return-receipt-requested (received & signed).

At the hearing, forged Popadiuk documents (the ESSENCE OF THIS CASE) are given full de facto and legal standing, despite forgery issues. Helbig was NOT advised that hearing took place despite her adjournment request.
Hearing takes place with Helbig IN ABSENTIA. Court does not advise Helbig of its decision.
15 02.04.1998 Helbig accidentally learns of the 10.02.1998 Ivano-Frankivsk City Court decision, as a result of Popadiuk's filing of a complaint in the International Arbitration Court of Kyiv.
16 29.04.1998 Through the intervention of the USA Embassy, the Ivano-Frankivsk City Court agrees to mail decision to Helbig. Two months, 20 days delay
17 05.05.1998 Helbig finally receives court's decision. Time to appeal has long since expired. An appeal MUST be filed within 10 days of a court decision.
18 13.05.1998 Appeal to Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court against decision of 10.02.1998 (see #14) Appeal NOT considered due to expiration of deadline.
19 16.06.1998 Appeal to the Supreme Court of Ukraine due to Ivano Frankivsk Regional Court's denial to consider appeal. No response

22 29.07.1998 Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court refuses to reconsider decision because the case files have been forwarded to Kyiv General Prosecutor's Office for review.
23 09.09.1998 Letter from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court informing about referral of the case to be considered according to appeal. (see #18)
24 01.10.1998 Another complaint to the Supreme Court of Ukraine against the delays ("merry-go-around") of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional and City Courts. Request to remove the cases from Ivano-Frankivsk.

29 11.01.1999 Kyiv General Prosecutor protests to the Board of Judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine as to refusal to reconsider decisions by Ivano-Frankivsk City Court of 10.02.1998.
30 10.02.1999 Supreme Court of Ukraine directs the Courts of Ivano-Frankivsk to cancel the 10.02.1998 decision.
31 18.02.1999 Helbig seeks adjudication at a venue other than Ivano-Frankivsk by filing a complaint with the Supreme Court on her original outstanding complaint that the Popadiuk documents (on which he relies as his authority to continue to act on behalf of the JV) are FORGERIES and requests the ORIGINALS. 38 06.09.1999 Helbig receives a reply from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Court stating that the court does NOT find any grounds for overturning the Prosecutor's decision not to bring criminal charges against Popadiuk. A two-page explanation referenced in the document as being attached, was NOT.
39 20.09.1999 Helbig Petition to the Ivano-Frankivsk City Court to assign a handwriting expert to examine document signatures. Expert not assigned
40 17.11.1999 Hearing in Ivano-Frankivsk. Popadiuk does not show up. Court requested copies of documents from Popadiuk and Austrian partner are not made available.
41 29.11.1999 Helbig appeals to Deputy Foreign Minister Chaliy for assistance and review. The Foreign Ministry forwards the appeal to the Kyiv General Prosecutor's Office for review. And they in turn forward the same appeal to Ivano-Frankivsk.
42 07.12.1999 Helbig received a reply from the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Court stating that the court does not find any grounds for overturning the Prosecutor's decision not to bring criminal charges against Popadiuk. No reasons or explanations are provided.
43 15.12.1999 Helbig appeals the Prosecutors decision not to proceed against Popadiuk to the Supreme Court (for the fourth time) asking the court: (1) to obtain information on WHAT GROUNDS the criminal case was refused and (2) to lodge a complaint against the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Court for mishandling the criminal filing. No reply
44 11.01.2000 Resolution of Ivano-Frankivsk City Court (Judge Maleyev) acknowledges and accepts photocopies as rightful documents of the JV. In spite of the fact that NO ORIGINALS exist, that the US partner and her manager, Christine Bonacorsa (whose signature also appears on all statutory documents) were not in Europe at that time, that Helbig and Bonacorsa do not have Ukrainian visas in their passports for that time frame and that the JV was running on cut & paste photocopies, none of which were registered.
